1) Tenaciousness is competency. I have developed tenacious behaviors to keep up with the requirements in this course. The most important behavior I developed was turning assignments in early. I am one to usually wait until the last minute to turn in assignments, but after starting this class, that behavior changed. Since there are about 3 assignments a week in this course, I have been staying on top of things. I decided to start doing and turning the assignment in at least a day before it is due. This has allowed me to stay on top of things very easily. By doing this, it has helped me a lot in this course and I am starting to do it in my other courses, too.
2) Tenaciousness is also attitude.I felt like giving up when I saw how much work I was going to have to do each week. I did not know how I was going to get it done. That was when I decided to try to work ahead. I pushed through the first two weeks and after the second week of this course, it began to get easier and more fun as I began to get into a routine.
3) Three tips.Three tips that I would offer to next semester’s students is:
1) Always try your best on the assignments. It helps with further assignments as a lot of them build on each other, plus it helps you think more like an entrepreneur.
2) Make sure you keep track with your calendar and double check to make sure you have done all your assignments. It can be very easy to forget to do an assignment, make a reply, or take a quiz each week.
3) Last but not least, I would suggest doing your assignments at least a day early. This has helped me out tremendously and helped me to keep up to date on everything.
Hey Melanie!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your halfway reflection. I like how you took the moment to reflect on yourself as well. Personally, I have not been the best student in this class. I have to make a turn around and get it together. Looking at your entire blog, I know that you are doing well in the class. Good for you! I will take some of your tips as advice in the meantime.
Thanks for the read.
